A box truck collided with a railway underpass on the Ikewei in De Westereen after the driver misjudged the tunnel’s height, which at 2.3 metres is relatively low.
As a result of the single-vehicle incident, the Ikewei between De Westereen and Sweagerbosk was closed to traffic. The truck sustained significant damage, but no one was injured.
A recovery vehicle was called to the scene to remove the truck.
